From day one, you will join a supportive environment designed to foster growth and achievement. Our onboarding process includes specialized training sessions on our process, tools, and resources that we utilize at HGI, and comprehensive training on beginning your recruiting journey.

Each new recruiter at our firm is paired with a seasoned mentor who provides unparalleled industry insights, personalized coaching, and continuous support. Our mentors are account executives with extensive experience in executive recruitment who are dedicated to helping you navigate challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and achieve your career goals. They play a pivotal role in your development, offering constructive feedback, sharing best practices, and ensuring you are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the competitive world of executive search. Each team is led by a dedicated manager who began their recruiting career at HGI, they have been in your shoes and dealt with the same challenges you will face which provides a unique perspective and an invaluable asset that is committed to your success. Your manager will engage with you through weekly 1-1 meetings, providing tailored guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship to help you thrive in your role. They work closely with you to set clear objectives, track your progress, and refine your skills in executive recruitment. Beyond day-to-day management, our managers are mentors who nurture your growth, ensuring you have the tools and knowledge to excel. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the industry, our managers have the experience to ensure you receive the individualized attention and support needed to achieve your career aspirations and contribute effectively to our HGI's success.

We also conduct two group training sessions weekly. One training session that brings the full team together to cover anything from recruiting & marketing to personal & professional development, and is primarily targeted to tackle topics that our team is actively experiencing in their business.

Our second training of the week is specifically for our team who are in their first 2 years of the business. These trainings focus on topics that less tenured recruiters often face to offer extra support and give them the tools and resources needed to succeed.

In addition to our internal training programs, we are constantly looking at the industry and looking for opportunities to bring in experts to share ideas with our team. Historically, we conduct two training sessions each year with outside resources on topics that are top of mind for our team.

As HGI's Training Manager, I’m passionate about our mission to develop our team with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in this competitive industry. Our training is thoughtfully designed to ensure that our team is equipped to navigate complex situations and serve as the most valuable resources possible for the clients and candidates they work with.

What drives me in this role is the opportunity to help guide individuals in their journey to becoming exceptional recruiters, grow personally and professionally, and contribute to the success of our clients and candidates we partner with. Sales Development Program

The Sales Development Program is a twelve-month program designed to mold ambitious individuals into adept professionals equipped to thrive in executive recruiting.

This program offers a blend of intensive training and hands-on experience, strategically crafted to expose participants to high-level, high-pressure, real-world sales and business development opportunities.

Throughout the life of the program, you will partner directly with a tenured mentor from our team, offering personalized guidance and insights. This mentorship ensures that upon completion of the program, participants are ready to tackle every aspect of the executive recruiting role.
