Our client is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent with a successful track record in multi-family housing, senior living, student housing, and/or hospitality projects.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans for details, buildability, conflicts, and dimensions.
- Ensuring compliance with building specifications and identifying potential conflicts in project documents.
- Managing the jobsite, including material staging, vehicle access, and temporary utility access.
- Implementing safety measures to conform with OSHA standards and maintain a safe workplace.
- Maintaining positive relationships with clients and addressing owner's concerns to meet project deadlines.
- Conducting regular project inspections and monitoring labor productivity and material quantities.
- Overseeing the quality assurance program and coordinating project layouts.
- Managing project punch lists for timely completion.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of construction experience, preferably in multi-family, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete.
- College education is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction technology, methods, and local market preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Ability to identify and solve project problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster client relationships.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office 365.
