About the Opportunity
A growing organization is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Application Administrator to support and optimize key business systems. This role serves as the bridge between operational goals and technical platforms, ensuring business applications are configured properly, integrated effectively, and performing at a high level.
The ideal candidate enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on system administration. This position will manage platform health, vendor relationships, workflow improvements, and data connectivity across multiple cloud-based applications such as CRM, web, and operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of core business applications and software platforms.
- Configure system settings, user access, workflows, and permissions to support business operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for software vendors, consultants, and external development partners.
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts, system updates, enhancements, and third-party integrations.
- Manage and support API connections, data transfers, and system interoperability across cloud-based platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through workflow automation and better system configuration.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics that support business decision-making.
- Monitor system performance, data accuracy, and user adoption to ensure ongoing success.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for long-term scalability and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in application administration, business systems support, or similar role.
- Experience managing CRM, ERP, e-commerce, or other cloud-based business platforms.
- Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, data structures, and system workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with workflow automation tools and process improvement initiatives.
- Background working with vendors, consultants, or external software partners.
- Advanced reporting and dashboard creation experience.
- Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, or business intelligence tools is a plus.
