Our client, a leading forging company outside of Cleveland, OH, is currently seeking a Tool Production Manager to join their team. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented individual, with strong leadership abilities, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in their work.
The Tool Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of personnel, equipment, and processes within several departments. Reporting directly to the management team, this role requires effective management of personnel, schedules, and operations to ensure optimal throughput and exceptional product quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prioritize safety as the top priority.
- Manage personnel, schedules, and new job construction across multiple departments.
- Provide training and performance evaluations for Machinists and Toolmakers.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate Forge tooling requirements.
- Support maintenance activities and oversee external vendor relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain schedules for shop hours and programming activities.
- Create and validate solid models and CNC programs for Mills and Lathes.
- Verify and authorize CNC programs for production use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 – 5 years of experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of cutting tools and their applications.
