Key Responsibilities:
- Embrace and uphold a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and driving the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, meticulously managing project progress.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of project plans, specifications, and details, keeping updated construction drawings as a permanent record.
- Efficiently schedule and procure tools, equipment, and materials while ensuring proper training for team members.
- Foster positive relationships with trade contractors, ensuring schedule adherence and high-quality work.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and production units, ensuring site productivity and timely reporting.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures, troubleshooting challenges and documenting solutions.
- Coordinate inspections with relevant authorities and maintain accurate documentation.
- Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, striving for IIF on all projects.
- Cultivate positive relationships with owners and design teams, effectively communicating project goals.
- Collaborate with various departments during pre-construction phases, providing technical expertise and assisting with project planning.
- Participate in marketing efforts and proposal preparations, contributing to client loyalty and business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent experience with a high school diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCad, and project management software.
- Strong understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
- Demonstrated track record in driving safety initiatives and compliance.
- Current or ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification and meet company safety requirements.
