As a Construction Project Manager with our client, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing construction projects in the Kansas City area. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential in driving project success and maintaining client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all phases of construction projects, from inception to completion.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues.
- Monitor project progress and quality, identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on the job site.
- Provide leadership and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Oversee project financials, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoice approval.
- Utilize project management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
