This BGA is seeking a National Sales Leader who actively manages their own book of business while leading by example — a true player-coach. This role requires proven expertise in life insurance sales, B2B distribution, and national account management. The ideal candidate excels in driving growth, team development, performance oversight, and executing a unified sales strategy aligned with company sales goals. Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to drive revenue, engage prospects, and strengthen advisor relationships across diverse markets.
- Work in collaboration with the director of marketing to design a resource hub and strategic approach tailored to real-time updates, sales enablement, and advanced market opportunities.
- Facilitate and host regular meetings to share best practices, tackle challenges, and communicate updates
- Monitor performance using sales metrics; prospecting, opportunities, pending, and paid
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a consistent advanced markets strategy
- Manage expenses to ensure adherence to budget
- Deliver ongoing training on advanced insurance concepts, products, and sales strategies
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 15+ years in the life insurance industry; predominantly spent in the BGA space
- Proven success in sales leadership
- Experience coaching and managing sales teams
Preferred:
- Life & Health Insurance License
- Series 6 and 63 licenses
