Our client, a leading General Contractor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is seeking a dedicated Field Superintendent to join their team. As a Field Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, maintaining quality standards, and fostering positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Director of Construction to ensure clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Coordinate subcontractors effectively, ensuring compliance with scope of work and project timelines.
- Identify and address problems outside of project scope, implementing solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Provide detailed daily and weekly reports to the Project Manager, documenting project progress and any issues encountered.
- Manage material procurement and delivery schedules to maintain project timelines.
- Schedule and allocate crews efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies among all team members.
- Cultivate positive relationships with employees, clients, suppliers/vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, promptly identifying and rectifying job hazards.
- Demonstrate professionalism in demeanor, communication, and appearance.
- Foster lasting relationships with clients and vendors, contributing to a positive project experience.
- Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to work independently to achieve project goals.
- Demonstrate effective organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Complete projects on time and within budget, upholding high standards of integrity and work ethic.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Application and resume submission required.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in General Contracting.
- Familiarity with all trades and construction safety procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 5-10 years of construction experience.
- Experience in K-12 School construction and Tilt Wall projects preferred.
