The HGI Financial Services recruiters have been engaged by an industry-leading Insurer to help them bring on a Director of IDI Underwriting. This organization holds an A+ rating and is recognized as a top 10 carrier annually, they have over 160 years of experience serving their client's needs.
This position will be responsible for directly overseeing a team of 8-10 team leaders focusing on the development of the Underwriting department. This position will not hold its own caseload, however, it will occasionally serve as a second signature on larger cases.
Qualifications:
- 4+ Years of Underwriting Management Experience
- Prior experience underwriting IDI cases is required
- Experience developing and mentoring a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
