As the Construction Superintendent, you will serve as the Company's representative, overseeing the daily coordination of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring site safety, adhering to budget requirements, managing schedules, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up project sites, including site access, staging areas, and security measures.
- Establish and organize jobsite offices, ensuring compliance with permits and regulations.
- Maintain and update construction documents, including ASIs, RFIs, and changes.
- Develop and review project schedules in collaboration with project management.
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities with trade contractors to maintain project sequence.
- Chair weekly meetings with trade contractors to ensure schedule adherence.
- Coordinate with local authorities regarding regulations and inspections.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Provide punch lists to trade contractors and ensure completion.
- Secure final inspections and certificates and communicate with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of construction experience as a lead superintendent.
- Proficiency in Outlook, email communication, and scheduling programs such as Procore.
- Possession and maintenance of a current Driver’s License within Texas.
