Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to lead critical financial processes within a large, multinational corporate environment. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, this role will oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, manage equity-related activities, and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX controls. The Corporate Accounting Manager will also supervise a team of three accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. This role requires a proactive leader with a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in corporate accounting; experience with equity compensation accounting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate financial processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas); experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Oracle HFM is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in diverse and multicultural environments.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high standard of accuracy.
