PROJECT MANAGER

:Our client is in search of a dedicated Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing project execution, managing project controls, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects, including project team members, project engineering, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to project engineers to support their professional growth.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of project scope and ensure meticulous attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage cost control, billing, collections, change management, cash flows, and prepare monthly status reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and architects, fostering strong relationships and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
  • Encourage and support collaborative efforts within the project team and self-perform work group.
  • Take ownership of project completion, financial performance, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and effective collaboration.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on fostering team morale and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (e.g., Prolog), accounting cost management software (e.g., CMIC), and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within relevant sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong work ethic, adaptable mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
