Trent Wilkerson joined HGI while completing his double major in Business Administration and Economics at Coe College, where he is entering his senior year. Trent brings a diverse background of hands-on experience through internships and entrepreneurial ventures, giving him a strong foundation in business, client service, and relationship building. His previous experience includes roles with AgriSource Inc. as a crop insurance intern and Pearson, where he supported business incentive initiatives. He has also gained valuable operational experience through general labor roles and by running his own business, Total Turf Lawn Care LLC, focused on hog barn upkeep and maintenance.
Trent was drawn to recruiting because it combines his passion for business, communication, and helping people find the right opportunities. He enjoys learning what motivates individuals and believes successful recruiting is built on understanding both a company’s needs and a candidate’s goals to create the best possible match.
